MK 3 Honey Bee Helicopter

Today, with brands like the Honey Bee Helicopter, you will discover a magnificent range of straight-forwardly arranged, convenient to fly, incredibly unwavering aircrafts like that brings delight and astonishment to one and all. This is a hobby wherein one should start from the bottom and eventually progresses.

In the past remote controlled helicopters had hand crafted gears, model aircraft designers who invested innumerable hours in labor of love, anticipating for the flying season when they would observe how their aircraft would execute. Today, beginners and newbie flyers would just open a box packed with flight tested, ready to soar. With everything ready to go, new technology, new materials and design makes it more suitable to people looking to start in this hobby right away.

Modern electric rc helicopters such as Esky Honey Bee helicopters are smaller, more light-weight, and more silent with strong electric motors compared to the gas rc helicopter. With slower velocity and lenient flight dynamics, it’s easy to fly and harder to crash.

The Honey Bee RC Mark 3 Helicopter comes with 2-cell 800 mAh Lipoly batteries. The main motor is 20-1/4” in diameter, 21” fuselage in length, and has flying weight of 9 oz. This mini rc helicopter also has a devoted Lipoly battery charger, and is ready to fly straight from the box within minutes. You only have to charge the flight equipment.

Note: Lipoly batteries only became widely available about a year and a half ago ( you can get them pretty cheap now too ). They hold a really good charge and with electric flight, weight savings are king.

Helicopters come in 2 main configs – Sikorsky and Co-Axial. For those of you who are unfamiliar,
Sikorsky are the ones with a main rotor blade counteracted by a smaller blade on the tail, which make the chopper quite nimble. The Co-Axial configuration of chopper tend to be more stable and isn’t as nimble. The Mark 3 comes in the Sikorsky configuration, and for those of you who want to do a bit of air-acrobatics later down the track, this radio controlled helicopter is for you. Don’t get me wrong though, I own this rc electric heli and I find it extremely stable and easy to control.

If you are new to flying, leave the fly bar weights at its outer position to reduce the controls making the heli simpler to fly. When you have leveled up in skill, you can move the weights to gain a speedier response.

You can also purchase any spare parts cheaply and quickly at Xheli. In conclusion, the Mark 3 Honey Bee helicopter will give you hours and hours of flight joy, and you won’t really need anything else.

hey, I have a question. I can not find any information about an upgrade to a 3 cell battery for this heli. Do you think that is possible? It is very important for me to know if I can use the 3 cell lipo or not.

thank you,

damian
