Honey Bee CP2

The ESKY Honey Bee Helicopter CP2 was my first “ collective pitch “ ( CP ) helicopter and since then, I’ve invested lots of money and time into micro rc helicopters . With this micro helicopter, you will learn about the inner workings of an electric RC helicopter and it’s a very good way to get started with micro rc helicopters. It is relatively cheap to buy and the spare parts are ready available from XHeli.

This micro heli is intended to be flown right out of the box, but from my experience, this is not the case – You’ll need to tweak the helicopter a little before it starts flying right. Don’t get put off though, this is a relatively easy thing to do and there’s plenty of resources out there ( forums etc ) that will pretty much tell you what to do and get you flying in no time.

For the enthusiastic beginner or for those who want a next step up from the conventional 4 ch Honey Bee, this is the Honeybee RC helicopter for you. The CP2 can use spare parts from the conventional Honey Bee too, and that equals lower costs for you.

This Honey Bee helicopter is light, quick to charge, has sufficient battery life and is easy to modify as you progress in skill by just add weights. It is great collective pitch, 6 channel electric RC helicopter that’s awesome for both beginner and advanced radio controlled helicopter pilots. At first sight, I thought that this mini rc helicopter wasn’t very robust, but upon testing it out, I was quite surprised. I did crash it quite a few times and nothing broke, this little monster just kept on going.

Why is the CP2 a great first micro heli to own -because it’s a great training tool. The low head speed means that it’s mainly an indoor flyer, and in my experience it is quite safe and easy to fly this RC electric heli around my house and trying to practice landing it on some small tables and books.

The CP2 is not to be underestimated. It’s good for casual flying but it can do some amazing sport flying, like stunts and inverted flying ( if you’re daring enough to try those things ). Overall, I would honestly recommend getting it to those of you who are sitting on the fence or whether or not to get an electric RC helicopter. You won’t regret it, and it’s a real bargain at it’s price. Click to visit XHeli ( they have the lowest prices on RC helicopters you’ll find online ).

PS: If you want some extra fun, try attaching a micro video camcorder to the CP2 :)
